Is Pently really free?

Yes, Pently is 100% free. There are no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no hidden costs. All features are available to everyone at no charge.

Do I need an account?

No. Pently works without any account or sign-up. You can start using the app immediately after downloading. You can optionally create an account to enable features like referrals, but it is not required.

Is my data private?

Yes. All data is stored locally on your device. We never collect, access, or transmit your personal information. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party data sharing. Your data is yours.

Which countries are supported?

Pently currently supports live specials from retailers in the following countries: South Africa, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands. More countries are being added soon.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Core features like shopping lists, product tracking, and pantry management work completely offline. The Specials feature requires an internet connection to fetch the latest deals from retailers.

How do I report a bug?

Is there a web version?

Yes! You can use Pently directly in your web browser. Visit the Try in Browser page to use the full app experience without downloading anything.
